Red Pom Poms
I’ve been decorating all day trying to get ready for our big bash Saturday – today I’m making pompoms to hang off the patio umbrella to spice it up a bit.
Working on Odds and Ends
Today was spent working towards the weekend, finishing the playlist, straightening up, pondering what to do for decorations (stay tuned for that). Nothing much to look at however – maybe tomorrow night once I’ve hung some bunting and lanterns.

Goodbye London, See You in Rio
I’ve spent this evening watching the closing ceremony of the Olympics instead of doing anything creative. I did make a salad for dinner (thanks B!) but that’s about it. Boy I’d love to make it to Brazil in 2016!
Cleaning Up in the Garden
We’ve got a big event coming up next weekend, so I took some time today to try and neaten up the garden. I did a lot of deadheading flowers, picking blueberries, and evaluating what’s done for the year and which pots need new flowers….
